Organization Helps Senior Citizens Stay Active and Healthy – in their homes!

St. Charles IL – June 14, 2010 – Fox Valley-based CovenantCare at Home (Covenant Care), ranked as one of the nation’s “Elite” home health providers for three years in a row, is expanding throughout the Fox Valley and northern Illinois area. They will still be based in the Fox Valley, with a move to larger offices in St. Charles in June.

Joseph D. Haughney, CovenantCare’s president, said, “A trend today is to keep seniors active, healthy, and in their own homes as long as possible. With skilled home health and personal care provided by CovenantCare, we support that trend.”

Continued Haughney, “Our Illinois agency has been steadily expanding the number of people it serves. And, we have added even more choices for service – complete Geriatric Care Management, specialty Pediatric Care, Spiritual Care, and outreach to residential communities and clinical offices. We simply needed more space to support our growth trends.”

Kathryn Allburn, Administrator of the Illinois agency, is pleased with the move. “We are caring for people throughout the Fox Valley and in DuPage, Lake, Cook, Kendall, LaSalle, and DeKalb counties. Our new offices are easily accessible for customers and located near major thoroughfares. And, we are keeping the same phone numbers, so there will be no interruption in service and communications.”

Allburn continued, “A lot of things that used to be done only in hospitals are now done routinely at home.”
